I love L J Ross crime novels and end up listening to them several times over. I enjoy the development and depth of characters and the pictures the author paints of people and place. This story set in a remote Cornish cove is an easy read and easy listen - with enough intrigue and twists to keep the reader interested. Enjoyable.

Hard to put into words why I disliked it. The best I can say is that it was just ok all round. I stuck with it because I had nothing else to do at the time. I usually like this narrator but this isn't even one of her best. If this is an example of the author's work I won't be reading/listening to any more.

I’ve listened to several books by this author before but this one was disappointing. Part chic-lit, part unconvincing melodrama this is not a book I can recommend.

it's such a shame. I was really enjoying the plot, character and pace of the story and then all of a sudden the mystery is solved (completely out of the blue), the story jumps to quickly and as I reader I felt cheated out of a well explained ending. the last 5 chapters or so all just seemed a bit rushed.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS AUDIO BOOK. Very entertaining and I will listen to it again. The narrator was perfect, I loved listening to her including the mild Irish accent. Thanks Audible for yet another introduction to a great Author.
