About this listen

Despite their agreeable demeanor, INFPs represent one of the most passionate and complex personality types within the Myers-Briggs Inventory. Employing a wholly unique stack of cognitive functions, this type sees the world around them not just as it is but also as it could be - making them a deeply imaginative and highly idealistic personality.

In this detailed, type-based survival guide, seasoned MBTI author Heidi Priebe explains the strengths and struggles INFPs face as they navigate the world around them as one of the most creative and emotionally intense personality types.

As an INFP myself, I found this book very inspiring and insightful, while also being quite challenging in some ways. Understanding how my cognitive functions work and interact, and how they differ from other people’s has been revelatory for me.
It has given me a lot of food for thought, and a deeper understanding of myself, which in turn will enable pretty much unlimited self growth, and creative exploration of my own imagination.
There is also some very useful insight into how to overcome unhelpful patterns of thought and behaviour that can trap the INFP in negative states of mind. Personally, i think that this alone makes this essential listening for the INFP type.
Definitely recommended if you are an INFP, or if you have an INFP in your life that you want to understand better.

Interesting, insightful, encouraging

The endless strings of initials in this audio version were extremely tiresome to listen to. Sometimes a quick glance might have worked better to weed out anything irrelevant.
As an INFP I didn’t find it particularly revealing, and have come across many other explanations of Myers Briggs of similar or better insights.

Possibly more palatable in written form
