As someone who's never owned a bearded dragon but has always been curious, this book provided a clear, honest picture of what it really takes. I went in knowing pretty much nothing—except that they look cool—and came out feeling like I could actually do this. Even though I’m still on the fence about bringing a beardie home, this book definitely gave me the confidence to consider it seriously (my kids are all over me to take the leap and get one!) —and if I do take the plunge, this will be the first guide I reach for.
