One of the reasons I actually like this book is because it has little practice sections. Which I love because it absolutely helps your learning process. I love the small companion tools it gives you through put the book and how it shows you how to use them. This is just a really good book.

You don’t have to box yourself into one attachment style, and the exercises are simple enough to use even on days when you’re overwhelmed or don’t have much energy. It doesn’t promise quick fixes, but it does give you realistic ways to feel more steady, respond instead of react, and slowly build a sense of safety in your relationships. It feels supportive without being overwhelming, which is honestly what makes it stick.

I went into this thinking one way and came out learning something new about myself. This is not like most self help books this actually helps using different techniques and has quizzes in order to regulate and destress. Kiddos to the author and narrator, highly recommend.

This is such an incredible book, and I am glad I found it. As someone who is anxious attachment style, married to an avoidant, this book has been quite helpful. I like that the steps are easy and not complex; they don't take too long, which makes it convenient to use on a daily basis. The guidance provided is valuable, and I think this book promotes a wonderful sense of self-awareness without being judgmental.
