About this listen

When a woman overhears a murder plot on her morning commute, she races to stop it—only to be pulled in deeper than she ever could have imagined.

Amy Nichols (Lizzy Caplan) was an FBI agent with a dogged need to protect everyone—until that instinct caused her to mishandle a crisis, lose innocent lives, and lose her job. Now a civilian working in private security, that mistake still haunts her.

One morning on the commuter train, she overhears a young couple plotting a murder. Ignoring warnings from her family and friends, Amy’s instinct to protect and serve compels her to investigate. But the further she goes, the more she finds her own life in danger.

Filled with mystery, suspense, and more twists and turns than a rail line, The Commuter is a gripping thriller by James Patterson, the world’s best-selling author.

Available in Dolby Atmos on Audible.

This was really exciting and so well acted. I usually hate audio drama but this is really enjoyable, and very funny as well. Highly recommend!

Great drama, excellent acting!

A very well thought out plot and easy listen whilst you're doing the housework. Enough twists and turns to keep you glued. The only thing I found slightly annoying was the supposed ex cop constantly blurting out all her secrets to the enemy and not keeping any cards up her sleeve. I had to shout at her to shut up several times.

A good Romp

The villain was pretty obvious early on. The acting was a bit extra. Ok listen.

Ok story. It acting. Predictable ending

More like a radio play, very good performances. Fairly stereotypical characters yet the actors were so good they were really brought to life. A very good twist that I did not see coming.

Lively Play
