About this listen

Robert Anderson was the second assistant commissioner (crime) of the London Metropolitan Police from 1888 to 1901 and a theologian and writer. The Coming Prince is a classic study of the book of the prophet Daniel. It closely examines every aspect of prophecy related to the Antichrist or "Man of Sin".

I'm an audiobook narrator. I've narrated over 21 books and have not and could not ever imagine pressing the button that says I'm done and submitting this monstrosity to the publisher. I also blame the publisher for permitting the publication of this audio work. The narrator knows nothing of Theology, his pronunciations are utterly off the mark, he struggled throughout and rather than humbling himself and either, admitting that he couldn't do it, or asking for a pronunciation guide, he just pushed through arrogantly to ruin one of the most important publications regarding the book of Daniel. If you, the publisher want a copy of this that won't disappoint everyone because of pronunciation or performance please search for Tony Parton on ACX. I have been a Christian for 12 years and have studied a Course in theology. One thing that was useful from this performance is an understanding of how alien our more theological language is as Christians for society as a whole. I love this book. I feel deeply sorry for the narrator. Call me.

Great book utterly ruined.

How this guy is in work I have not a clue. A very important work has been virtually destroyed by the performance of the reader.

Worst voice performance ever

Poor quality. Difficulties comprehending this audio version. A great story, unfortunately rendered poorly, which is regrettable.

I am sure the narrator is gifted at some things narration is sadly not one of them. It was so distracting to the amazing work sir Robert Anderson has put in to one of the most astonishing evidences of biblical authenticity.

Narration quite unbearable
