This is a story about a women who is trying to keep her great aunts memory of a childhood book alive, she meets a charming handsome man along the way. He upsets her and she feels betrayed, once Christmas is over they see each other again and begin a beautiful story of their own.

I had read this when it was published and enjoyed it, but finding there was an audible edition have listened to this to get me up to speed ready for The Secret Christmas Library also featuring Mirren and Theo! Only a few days to wait and enjoy Eilidh and Jenny again!!

Overall a nice cozy Christmas story but lacks depth and character development. Didn’t grip me, ending a little odd I thought. Well read though.
