I listen to crime drama/fiction on Audible all day every day while I work - so am very familiar with the genre. This title was included with my subscription so I'm not going to slate it but... oh dear. Initially, I thought I had sussed out the plot "twist" from the very start which made it a little irritating but I decided to persevere as I was engrossed in my work anyway. Now, an hour from the end, I have just stopped it as it's just getting ridiculous. The storyline is told through the eyes of each main character and in two different timelines ("before" and "after"). Then some of that is completely contradicted in the last half of the book! Not so much a "plot twist" as a "plot over-written". Sorry, but in my humble opinion, this one just doesn't work at all - but each to their own.
The narrator did a good job of voicing the different characters and was pleasant enough to listen to.
