Great story

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this story. It was well written and very well read. My only issue with it, and this may be a failing on my part, but I do like to have all the t's crossed and the i's dotted, and this story ending for me wasn't completely finished off. I don't want to spoil it for you by saying why, but I wanted to ask what happened then?? Perhaps it was self explanitory and I'm being thick.
Anyway I still really enjoyed it

Thrilling Thriller

This was my first time listening to a Tom Bale story and it was riveting. The twists and turns in the story kept me listening right through til the end. I would recommend this story to anyone who likes a murder story where you want them to get away with it.

What a disappointing end

Good story, excellent narrator.
What a very disappointing ending. Needed another chapter to finish the story off.

An unsatisfactory end

I loved the book but was left feeling slightly frustrated by the ending. Probably because I'm the sort of person that likes to feel that the 'baddies' get their comeuppance!

What is it about Tom Bale?

I just can't make up my mind about Tom Bale. I find his descriptions unnecessarily long, sometimes predictable and at times I find myself questioning: I am bored of listening to this? However, something about his writing just pulls you in. He develops brilliantly sinister characters, and keeps you hanging on. Some parts of this book were very creepy, and Bale waits to the end to deliver several twists that were unexpected. Bale really explores the relationships between the characters which is essentially what Bales plots are built on.
I thought that the narration was good, and the characters clearly defined.

A bit underwhelming

Sorry to say. But the story started out good. Then just sort of run out of steam. It left the characters in limbo.
