Such a lovely story, which I thoroughly enjoyed..Always love the description of beautiful Cornwall, my favourite county..It was well read as always by Helen Johns. I wish it could have been a longer story but never mind...Onto the next Rosamund Pilcher book next.

Rosamunde Pilcher's books are beautiful, they are such lovely heartwarming stories, that always gives me such a nice feeling. I think Rosamunde was a very perceptive lady, she understood people and their behaviour, human nature and understood that all children need is love, and constant feeling of belonging to someone. The beautiful descriptions of the landscapes in Cornwall and such lovely characters. It's a lovely little bit of escapism that takes you to a time gone by, such a nice time. The beautiful voice of Helen Johns makes this book even more enjoyable. I loved it! 🤍 📚 🏞
