Duncan Alexander, San Jose, California, where he is called. He meets Juliet who is a vampire of the light as opposed to the dark vampires led by Victor, He agrees to be converted to a vampire himself. As his change to a vampire gets stronger he begins to have visions which point to a coven of long-dead witches. It all ends in a battle between the witches and the vampire of both light and dark, Unfortunately, there is not much action going on up until the end battle. The narrator galloped as if in a race and his voice became monotonous. Not my cup of tea but I stuck with it to the end,
