Mark Meadows is an incredible reader. He goes from character to character (doing all the voices) so convincingly.

Fantastic book written on the South American Nazis and in particular Dr Josef Mengele and post war experimentations.
But how much truth lies in the story? Some would argue there is now lots of evidence pointing to it and certainly so much more since this excellent book was written.
Highly recommended.

An amazing tail of espionage and mad scientists. The true story of Nazi hunting flows in nicely with the fiction of this story. A truly thrilling listen!

Performance was enjoyable, but I feel like some of the accents and characters got a bit mixed and made parts hard to follow.

I can see why it's a classic!

This is what Audible is all about. Take an absorbing story and add value with a PERFECT performance by the narrator. His vocal skills and a good deal - I'm gonna say 45% extra - to already immaculately written characters.

If you'll forgive a gender stereotype, this would be a great starting point for a lazy man lile me to convert from fiddlimg with the iPad in bed to enjoying a great story to end the day.

Very highly recommended.

This book asks and almost answers every what if question about WW11 that I've ever asked myself. Brilliant story, brilliant narration, brilliant everything. I don't know if it's obvious but I loved it!
