Luckily for the general public, there is a department of military intelligence that stands between them and the creatures that many believe only exist in the old storybooks.
Gathering a strange mixture of animals, humans, and folklore creatures, Hamilton gradually unravels the secret of the waters lying off the island. He discovers not only what is abducting the youths but why. After learning the truth, he must plan and carry out a blacker than black operation using British, American, and Norwegian special forces to eliminate the menace and clear out the evil once and for all. All this has to be done without the general public realizing that the creatures of their grandparent’s folktales exist around them.
