Narrator was excellent. Book was well written. Lots of twists and turns. Characters were complex and interesting and different. I really enjoyed this book and have followed Annie Summerlee so I will know asap about her future books 🥰

This is a fantastic captivating vampire n slayer story, and I loved it. 💖
It twists and turns and is very clever, exciting and emotional in it's telling.
I hope we get more in this fab story, it's so unique and I'm hooked, more please!

This is a nice read, nothing deep or surprising. I wasn’t entirely enthusiastic about the non-Scottish accents in the audio version. Ellia was the most interesting character, but being such an old vampire I couldn’t understand why she’s a student not a teacher. I would have also liked more from Rebecca’s other friends, Julia being given the most space but not enough. It could have been quite a bit longer to add more depth to each or the characters, particularly Eliz who is quite a one dimensional character. Did like the arc of Rebecca’s character in terms of how she sees vampires.
