I enjoyed this book. I've read them all in this series and love the characters' development. This one also had me guessing. Just when I thought I knew who did it the book threw in a curve ball and me guessing for a bit longer.

This is hands down one of my favourite Police Procedural series. This latest installment was every bit as brilliant as the previous books. Another clever, intricate plot, with plenty of twists, and lots of humour and banter between the Dectectives, as well as Barton and his wife Holly.
Brilliant writing and fantastic narration from David Thorpe made this an absolute joy to listen to. 👏👏

I absolutely love this series. I have listened to every book. DCI John Barton is a big bear of a cop with a heart of gold. I would love to see him brought to TV. Read by the very wonderful David Thorpe. I could never imagine anyone else reading this series! Great humour too. Read in order for a better experience. I Cannot wait for the next one!!!
