About this listen

When Nurse practitioner Layla Matthews awakens in her own coffin, she begins a journey that takes her to “The Body Auction,” where she uncovers a devious and meticulously orchestrated underground nightmare. Though the business of human trafficking has been all over the news, it has long remained a problem for “other people,” until Layla finds herself face-to-face with the realities of a depraved, multi-million-dollar-industry, and soon learns that the darkest depths of evil is much, much closer to home than she ever thought possible.

The story is good, there are times i get confused as to why the main character seems to put herself in these situations, there was one occasion where there really was no need and came across like she wanted to be there,

The narration was appalling, the ladys accent is so strong it can make it hard to understand, there are parts where she blatantly makes a mistake reading and corrects herself, as well a coughing, which is very distracting. Some chapters her voice is loader and some quieter, no consistency in how close she is sitting to the recording device, you can also hear pages turn and and in some chapters a white noise in the background.

This made it difficult, hard & frustrating to listen to.

Story is good, the narration is shocking!
