It just fits!

This is one of the most practical books about the Relationship I have read! The stories are Georgia Bound, Georgia On My Mind, I Left My Heart In Georgia, and The Atlanta Heiress. The book does not just present theory's and concepts but rather provides real life, entertaining stories that illustrate the subtle differences between how they see the world, especially as it relates to relationships. The stories make the wisdom shared easily accessible and understandable. One of my most favorite aspects of this book is the creative and helpful way it is structured. Too many times when I find a book that I like, I have to search back through the pages and find my highlighting to reference important points. This book does that for the reader by breaking out the chapters into the different numbers and then highlighting important points, as well as it outlines key facts about how a specific number relates to other numbers. Each chapter then concludes with information about relationships. I keep this book at my mobile library for easy reference. I have purchased several copies to give away to friends, and then have discovered they have done the same because they found it so helpful. It's great to listen to in the car on the way to work if I need a refresher and it is also helpful if I want to share about a particular number with someone - I can let them listen to that particular chapter or story. The audio book is read by the narrator called Meredith Nash and she is one of my favorite, which is another benefit because she is very easy to listen to and you can tell she is very comfortable with the material. I also purchased the eBook, which I highly recommend! I like the art focus and mystery aspect. Exciting adventure and intrigue. I liked this story the best as it felt full and complete, though not a romance.

Don’t miss out.

I enjoyed this series and just love having them all in one collection. Meredith is a fantastic storyteller and can pull you into the lives of her characters so completely and thoroughly that you find yourself thinking about them at random times throughout the day. The stories are Georgia Bound, Georgia On My Mind, I Left My Heart In Georgia, and The Atlanta Heiress. All of them are heartwarming stories with engaging characters who are struggling with something, and they each learn an important lesson. I totally loved this box set it has your alpha male and sassy female. The characters were engaging and the plots and storylines moved smoothly. P.S. I highly recommend all of Kimberly's books specially- Christmas With A Stranger, Moonlit Masquerade and Witch Switch will have you hooked in no time.

I loved the bakery angle and the uniqueness of the hereditary nature that was revealed. Kimberly Grell is a Master Teacher of the Southern Romance Story, having studied and taught it for many years in a variety of settings and contexts. This accessible book provides a map to healthier and more fulfilling relationships. This book is 4 wonderful stories united by their location. All of them are heartwarming stories with engaging characters who are struggling with something, and they each learn an important lesson. Four stories that are short but well written. Each book in the series follows characters in different forms of loss. One is financial loss, another is declining health, and the other is the loss of livelihood. The bonus story The Atlanta Heiress is a mystery waiting to be solved! One of the books deals with the PCOS which I knew nothing about. This Blue Ridge Mountain series does not feature your typical romance stories. Most romances tend to be about the relationship, while this series is about the journey to the relationship. Waiting for the next one.

Encouragement when you need it most

I was facing my partner leaving me and a crushing sense of sadness when I read this book and it was helpful to know that others also experience the pain I was going through and that things could be better. 4 short novellas with a Georgia setting. These stories have such great characters and an up and running story-line. I'd love to see each of these expanded into novels where we get to see the relationship progress as well as this time leading up to it. I liked the slight overlaps between stories where you see hints of the others poking their heads through. She provides helpful strategies that you can work though on your own. A few minor notes: this is most appropriate for someone whose romantic relationship has ended. If you feel abandoned in another way, I’m not sure you will relate to the book as well since that is the main focus. Also the author frequently mentions weight and attractiveness in ways that might reinforce a sense that this is what makes people desirable. Of course all authors’ biases come through in writing and this is forgivable but something to keep in mind as you read. It stood out noticeably to me. Overall great book. I also strongly recommend her On That Winter Day book to read on its own or along with this one.

Sound, Solid, and Practical

I liked the theme of being comfortable in your skin, accepting yourself, and letting others in. This story brings to mind the saying "making the best out of a bad situation." Kimberly Grell gives us understandable, in-depth information about how we all see the world differently, react to the world differently and how this effects our relationships with others in our world. She opens the door to her wisdom providing us with insight about how each specific number typically behaves in relationships along with having an understanding as to how and why others respond to us in relationships. This book gives specific information on how each number can best get along with each other. The end of each chapter has steps we can take to better ourselves and thus our relationships, along with things to keep in mind when relating to someone of a specific number. Kimberly Grell’s “On That Winter- Day Seasons of Love” is a great book for everyone to read. I highly recommend this book along with her book “Sweet Romance Novellas Collection”. This is one of those books that you don't quite want to finish, because you don't want it to end ;)

Romance, Mystery & Suspense

I enjoy this southern romance book with 4 short stories very much. I really like Kimberly Grell's writing and this book was one of the best I have read thus far. The choice of characters was very good and I could not put it down. This novel was not just about romance, but had an element of mystery and suspense. It kept me interested so that I had to read it to the end in just a couple of sittings. Typical review of the relationships I must say. Loved the story, the characters. All around good book. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys romantic but also intriguing novels.

What a ride !!!!

I just love a good country themed book. This is an emotional roller coaster sort of book. There were times I was angry, times I cried, times I laughed, and times I just sighed. This is an excellent, fast paced story with an outstanding plot that centers around the journey to the relationship.. The characters are all believable with a good description of each one. Each character helps pull the story together into a wonderful romance. I really enjoyed this book and it has a great storyline, it is well written with a few light mysteries along the way, and very entertaining. I may have wanted to throw my ereader a few times, but in the end I swooned and fell in love with all of these characters. This is a series of four (4) books.

My favorite is Georgia Bound...

My favorite is Georgia Bound where Lola finds out that the pastry shop she inherited is no longer thanks to an underhanded deal of the building owner. With no choice but to start over she uses a dart to land on a map to show her the destination of her new beginnings. You will be drawn in not only with this story but all the others as well. They are well written with character that you can identify with. I'd love to see each of these expanded into novels where we get to see the relationship progress as well as this time leading up to it. I liked the slight overlaps between stories where you see hints of the others poking their heads through.

Makes a lot of Sense.

Kimberly Grell writes a vast amount of poetry and romance that is satisfying and contains a great reread value. Kimberly is the most accessible teacher of the southern romance books that I have encountered. Meredith Nash's narrative style communicates vast knowledge in a tone that invites honest self-reflection and compassion for others. The Path Between Us is a brilliant combination of story-telling,fact sharing, and growth invitations to open the reader's eyes to how those they love see the world. The journey from loss to a relationship, not branching into the time spent in a relationship. 4 short novellas with a Georgia setting. These stories have such great characters and an up and running story-line. I'd love to see each of these expanded into novels where we get to see the relationship progress as well as this time leading up to it. I liked the slight overlaps between stories where you see hints of the others poking their heads through. Do you want to love better? Do you desire deeper connection in relationships? Do you long for insightful empathy toward people you disagree with? To be honest, I felt like I was going up a roller-coaster and just as we reached the peak, the story ended (for the first 3). That's why I docked the review a star. This book can be a wonderful guide in that journey!

Her stories are so different even though you know sometimes what is going to happen before you get to the end. They are easy to read and not a lot of characters to keep track of. I will be reading more of Kimberly Grell's books

I like the "sleuthing" aspect.

I loved the small town and the characters. The author did a great job of setting them in my mind with her words. It is a great story that is just light enough to be an easy fun read. This series is filled with refreshing stories that will have you on the side line encouraging characters to their happily ever after. Four stories that are short but well written. The stories are Georgia Bound, Georgia On My Mind, I Left My Heart In Georgia, and The Atlanta Heiress. I enjoyed this series and just love having them all in one collection. They are good well-written books with good interesting storylines that quickly pull you in. Today's life tend to be complicated with very little interaction with ones own history let alone that of the people living past one. This charming series take one back to the basics, where every one know one another and accept each other, warts and all. I felt like I was going up a roller-coaster and just as we reached the peak, the story ended for the first 3 stories. And last bonus story "The Atlanta Heiress" is a mystery one.

A Journey well taken

This is a wonderful set of short stories set in small towns in Georgia. These stories have such great characters and an up and running storyline. This series is filled with refreshing stories that will have you on the side line encouraging characters to their happily ever after. Such a heartwarming story. It’s very romantic and love the small town location. The uniqueness of the hereditary nature that was revealed, the theme of being comfortable in your skin, accepting yourself, and letting others in also the mystery aspect are the real beauty of this short novellas. I also have all of the companions to this book Kimberly Grell wrote through the years and I would recommend it. I read each of these books as they were released and really enjoyed them. Now they are all in a set and you don't have to wait for the next one to be published.

Especially love this series.

I grew up in the South so for me perhaps it was a taste of home. I especially love the Blue Ridge Mountain Series series. You can read the books as stand a lone; but you get so much more when you read them in the series. You have a deeper understanding with what is going on with these families and you get to know them. Its a joy to revisit the characters that you have read about in books. I stayed up all night just to finish reading it for me this book deserves more than five stars and I cannot wait for the next book. I enjoyed this book just as I have enjoyed every one of the other books that I have read from this author. This book is beautifully written with captivating characters that you will fall in love with. It’s filled with plenty of laughs out moments as well as the ones that will bring you to your knees.

Not your typical romance

This Blue Ridge Mountain series is not your typical romance. Whether you were the result of financial loss, another is declining health, and the other is the loss of livelihood, had trauma from a loved one dying or being very ill while you were growing up, or were dumped by a family member, boyfriend/girlfriend, or spouse. I have read too many books on this subject. This is the one I wish I would have found FIRST cause I get my desired stories in 1 book. I can't say enough good things about Kimberly Grell. I also recommend you read her book "Turned." Thank you so much Kimberly, from the bottom of my heart for this 4 short valued stories.

Lesson in beauty and perfection.

I can't remember where I found the reference to this book, but I am so glad I did. This audiobook is four wonderful stories united by their location. All of them are heartwarming stories with engaging characters who are struggling with something, and they each learn an important lesson. My favorite story is Georgia on My Mind. Health issues have been plaguing Jacquelyn, and she’s no longer the beauty she once was. When she stumbles over a floral display, she insists on working off a debt to cover the damage, even though the owner says it’s not necessary. Eugene teaches her about flowers. And she learns a lesson in beauty and perfection. I like the art focus and mystery aspect with exciting adventure and intrigue.
