About this listen

In The Blame Game, a psychologist becomes involved with a patient and each blame the other for what happens next. A dark, entertaining and suspenseful thriller from Sandie Jones, the author of The Other Woman and The Guilt Trip.

'A brilliant page-turner' – Sarah Pearse, author of The Retreat

There are two sides to every story . . .

He came to me for help with his marriage.

I was alone and afraid. She was there when I needed to talk.

I needed to make him understand that he had to get away.

I knew what I needed to do. I just couldn’t do it on my own. I trusted her.

Now it has gone too far. And I can’t tell anyone what I have done.

Now I have nowhere to turn and I just pray they find me before she does.

And then there's the truth.

Very disappointed with this audiobook.
I was really looking forward to it being a therapist myself but was very disappointed. No psychologist would practice like this with zero boundaries, at least I hope they wouldn’t- so that wasn’t believable for starters, then the storyline was weak and as for the voices and the characters- the protagonist was so unlikeable it was hard to keep going, the male voices were absolutely terrible and so irritating.
I ploughed through to the end as I wanted to believe the ending would be good, but sadly was disappointed and wish I hadn’t bothered!
