Another great listen from Ed James. I thought his knowledge of the oil rigs was particularly impressive. Loved the way characters were introduced that were unexpected (no spoilers from me!!). The one character I do have to comment on is Bain. In my last review I gave an excoriating opinion about him. I hated him and he actually spoiled the book for me. I almost didn’t listen to this book as I knew he would be in it however I love this series of books so bit the bullet and to my surprise he was not as obnoxious as usual. His participation with Elvis in the podcasts was hilarious so he has redeemed himself ( or Ed has). What can you say about Angus. He builds the tension superbly when necessary and is always an outstanding narrator.
