So I bought this when released & I’ve just not managed to get to it yet. Harrison kindly sent me an Audible code so of course I bumped it up on my listens 👏🏼🤎
Alan is an insufferable chauvinist pig of a man! One of those that have no respect for females, cheating means nothing to this guy 🙄 He’s a bad dad & a bad husband! His attitude to life is like he’s king & everyone is basically peasants
After yet another night in the pub sees Alan replacing all responsibilities with drink & looking for his next hook up, he meets V.
She takes him home & gives him the best night of his life. V isn’t the most stable of women, constantly calling him, totally obsessed after just the one night 🫣 (the most extreme fatal attraction vibes). Which kinda has the same fate plus an accidental hit and run with the cat!
This is when things get weird & Alan’s life turns into a living nightmare…
Oh this was brilliant, Alan became more than a little unhinged!! You really do hate him through out. The ending 🤯 Brilliantly done as always for Phillips!
