Firstly I did like this book and yes it did fill some other wise boring hours but on the whole it was nothing special. A few years ago I watched a film ( parody of slasher movies) where a beautiful, busty woman was being chased by an axe welding maniac. She comes across a signpost which says to the left safety, friends cops etc and to the right sudden painful death. So of course she chooses to go right. This book reminded me of that film. I found myself constantly saying don't do that!

3 smart woman go to the back of beyond for a fourths birthday celebrations and then proceed to do predictable stupid things. Okay it does have some little suspenseful moments but I did see the twists and sussed out the bad egg early on .

Narration was good. Bought as a BOGOF.

Sparkles then gradually fizzes out.
