Summary

Even as the Imperium faces the renegade Legions of the Warmaster, the ruling Council of Terra is becoming paralysed from within by increasingly petty bureaucracy. Fabricator General Kane has seen his fellow Mechanicum adepts dismissed again and again by the High Lords - with his traitorous predecessor Kelbor-Hal still at large on the Red Planet, the political status of the tech-priesthood remains ambiguous. Absolutely stunning.

It's easily the best audio drama I've listened to. A great, compelling story that surrounds a novel idea, yet starkly distinct from a lot of its peers in the Heresy series by being unashamedly politics focused. Beyond the story, the production values and acting in it are excellent - alien and chilling, yet fiercely passionate. Even has a great wee musical score behind it too.
