Summary
If you can't trust your family....
A family at war. A mother who comes out fighting....
Maureen Hutton's life has never been easy. Married to an alcoholic and stuck on a council estate in East London, she scrimps and saves to bring up her three children alone.
Murder, the underworld, drug addiction - over four decades Maureen sticks by her blood through thick and thin. But then the unforgivable happens. Maureen is told a terrible secret which threatens to rip her family apart. She can't say anything. She is too frightened of causing a bloodbath.
The only thing Maureen can do is to get rid of the betrayer before it is too late.

Worth a read..
Struggled a bit at first but bloody good middle and end.. Fantastic ending and powerful family...

It can't end there!!!!
I sincerely hope there is a sequel to this book. Was totally hooked. Kimberly chambers is a real favourite of mine.

The Betrayer
First of all I would like to mention the Narrater Annie Aldington, what a fab job she does.. she totally brings the story to life, absolutely love listening to her reading.
Really enjoyed listening to The Betrayer, it had a good story line.. I laughed, I gasped, I even guessed some of the the twists along the way. Was a little sad when it came to the end.
Like the other books I’ve listened to by Kimberly Chambers, it didn’t disappoint.

ANOTHER BELTER
I loved The Betrayer listened to it within a day. I hope that there will be a follow up to it. I have to know Kimberley PLEASE PLEASE let there be another. Thank you for another belter of a book

Another great book from Kimberley chambers
I'm a real fan of Kimberley chambers and this is another great listen.
You get to know the characters and real invest in them as they come to life.
I also love anything narrated by Anne Aldridge. She's an excellent narrator!!
