Summary

Who knew the truth?

As Chhun and his fellow Legion Adjudicators work to uncover the buried secrets of the time called the Troubles, the rest of the galaxy isn't just standing still. Organizations both inside and outside of the Republic make moves to prepare for their futures. Planets build their own independent defense forces. Power brokers and criminal cartels arise with personal armadas. The Repub Navy seeks to prove itself just as capable even without the Legion. Piracy blooms.

For the Adjudicator and his team, the job only gets harder. Each snatch, grab, and interrogation grows more dangerous.

As stress and casualties mount, Hunter Team Ranger begins to splinter from within. Their pace is relentless, their mission seemingly unending…

…and now Chhun and his legionnaires are inserted on a hidden planet that is home to one of the Republic's darkest secrets.

Join Chhun and Hunter Team Ranger in their mission to run the blasters, clear the corners, and keep the Republic from descending into chaos. The galaxy is a dumpster fire, and the flames are out of control!

Oba's Balls🔥
Yes it's short and people will moan but you can say a lot in a short period of time with absolutely no padding. This story simply is everything that makes Galaxy's Edge simply brilliant. Just leaves you wanting more. A WTF ending leaves you just hanging there and that's exactly what as a fan I want🔥 Waiting patiently........

not much story, weaker than the other books. Only familiar figure was Chunn, and I still don't know what the pocket singularity did apart from kill a Legionnaire

still don't know what the plot was.

Plausible in the world at the edge of the galaxy. Great performance. Not RC Bray, (get well soon) but still an excellent performance. Husky, gruff, and clear. Easy to listen to. Well done.

Great continuation - next next next pls

I love this series.. and all of the other Legionnaire books, but honestly had no clue what was happening here, and why. Jumping around huge numbers of new characters, just when you were getting into it, would jarringly snap to a whole lot of something else. Now I have finished it I couldn't tell you hardly a thing about it.. Yes I get it, chaos in the galaxy... but telling that tale and being that tale are different things.
I also found the style a bit annoying after a while. I prefer the popcorn swagger from the characters, not the narrator (through the whole thing!). It reminded me a bit of the Strange Company books, but nowhere near as good or coherent. (I am still waiting for a new Strange Company - where is it?).
I liked the narrator, as much as you can like any narrator who isnt R C Bray. He did a great job on a frustrating read. I will of course still get the next one, but I hope it doesn't continue like this.

I couldn't tell you what this was about
