About this listen

If you are in business, you are in the business of behavior. Unless a business influences behavior, it will not succeed.

In the last 50 years, we have learnt more about how we behave than over the previous 5,000. This audiobook shows how behavioral science has revolutionized our understanding of how people really think (or don’t) and how we can use those insights in our businesses to influence behavior and gain competitive advantage.

Richard Chataway works for the BVA Nudge Unit, a global consultancy specializing in behavioral change, and has experience in everything, from getting people to join the armed forces, drink spirits rather than wine, and buy flatpack furniture, to developing the world’s most successful stop- smoking mobile app.

This book provides many useful tips and insights but I find it overwhelming, the pace is way too fast for that amount of information. I think that in order to actually assimilate that information I will need to listen to each chapter multiple times before passing to another one. Maybe this book should have been splitted into multiple books that go into depth on that subject and present it in a calmer and simpler way. With all this said, I still think that you can get many useful ideas from this book.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
