I would recommend this book to any woman especially if they struggle with body image and acceptance. It definitely opened my eyes.

Everyone should read this book. With the advent of social media, app filters and reality tv it is, if anything, more relevant today than when it was first written.

I have spent my whole life judging myself on my looks. Not sure how easy it will be to let go but thanks to this book I know I should.

Confirmed what I somewhat knew all along and reaffirmed my positive self-beliefs. I have since stopped conforming and subscribing to modern day beauty ideals. I have stopped comparing myself to other women, changed my consumer habits and have never felt more liberated and happier. Loved every minute of this book.

This is very important book for each woman. Cosmetic surgeries are increasing in my region of the world. Yet personally Made me grateful that we in this same region are being paid equally to men!

Should be read by all women

This book is sadly as relevant today as it was when it was first written. Though some things have got better (today, retouched adverts has to be clearly marked as such here for instance) many things have not. I would love to read an up to date version with the economics today (this is so old, it gives the amount in Italy in Lire), and maybe a chapter about trans women as well. Well narrated, listened comfortably to it at 1.3X
