Tbe story and ideas are great. the writing is descriptive enough to allow your imagination to do tbe rest, however the narration sounded as if it had been plugged into an AI to replicate the narrators voice. The punctuation was off in more then a few places.

enjoyable sci-fi

I am not sure this book would be for me. A lot of running, battles and so on. Sci-fi for me is more about the philosophy. The element that removed any chance of me getting on with the book is the pompous narration. I just hated it, voice, emphasis, annunciation,… all of it.
