About this listen

Story didn’t flow, lots and lots of clichés. Mystified by the editorial process. Sweet story though.

I absolutely loved reading this book and have just enjoyed listening to it as well I highly recommend this to anyone who's a romantic at heart story line the characters fantastic I'll never get tired reading or listening to it again finding my self hoping sam and luciana will find their way fall in love , and make it work ..Thanks to Melissa Tereze for writing this and the brilliant job done by cat Gould narrating it sexy voice ....loved it please please bring the PART two of this story the call to audible I'll have that to ...can't wait

Narrators voice did not suit the characters...
Story good at some places and not so good at other places..
Ended abruptly, needed a bit more there.
Why does this author always write about women that are indecisive and neurotic... It is exhausting and quite frankly boring. She needs a new storyline, they all the same.
We want to read about strong independent women.

This could have been a much better listen. The narrator, whilst not terrible, didn’t link the characters together in a cohesive way. It sometimes felt as if she had been handed the story sentence by sentence, as if she didn’t know where the story was going. I think I’ve been spoilt by narrators like Abby Craden who put so much emotion into their storytelling. I’m sure there must be British narrators out there who don’t sound so stilted, but I haven’t come across one yet. The story itself was okay even if it ended quite abruptly.
