Story
One of the greatest crimes of this generation of Christians is its neglect of the Gospel, and it is from this neglect that all our other maladies spring forth. Absent from too many pulpits are the essential themes that make up the very core of the Gospel: the justice of God, the radical depravity of man, the blood atonement. In The Gospel's Power and Message, Paul Washer addresses these essential elements of Christ's good news and provides a guide to help us rediscover the Gospel in all its beauty, scandal, and saving power.

Western civilization and the Christian church stand at a moment of great danger. The forces arrayed against the West and the church are destructive ideologies, policies, and worldviews deeply established among intellectual elites, the political class, and our schools. More menacingly, these forces have also invaded the Christian church.

Story
The Bible's teaching on God's love, holiness, and sovereignty is often met with questions about human responsibility, suffering, and evil. If God is in control of everything, can we make free choices? If God is good and all-powerful, how can we account for natural disasters and moral atrocities? Answers to these questions are often filled with technical jargon and personal assumptions that don't take into account the full scope of biblical truth.

Story
Why does the allegiance that radical terrorists give to their false cause exceed the allegiance that most Christians today give to Jesus Christ? In Insurgence, best-selling author Frank Viola presents a radical proposal for Christians. Namely, that we have lost the explosive, earthshaking gospel of the kingdom that Jesus, Paul, and the other apostles preached. Viola argues that we've lost this dynamic, titanic, living gospel and exchanged it for a gospel of religious duty or permissiveness and "easy believism."

It should come as no surprise that misunderstandings about the gospel message and the nature of true conversion result in a problem with genuine assurance of salvation. In this robust and accessible book, Scripture scholar and theologian Michael Patrick Barber provides a thorough, deeply Catholic, and deeply biblical answer. He deftly tackles this complex topic, unpacking what the New Testament teaches about salvation in Christ, detailing what exactly salvation is and what it is not. In easy and listenable prose, he explains what the cross, the church, and the trinity have to do with salvation.

In the face of scorn and disbelief, Jesus Christ announced his kingdom. In the face of hatred and death, he demonstrated its power. In this 12-lecture series, Dr. Sinclair Ferguson explains how the Sermon on the Mount equips us to live a kingdom life in a fallen world. Summary
I believe. These two words are among the most explosive words any human can utter.
The Apostles' Creed has shaped and guided Christian faith for almost 2,000 years. Shared by Protestant, Roman Catholic, and Eastern Orthodox traditions, it is perhaps the most compelling and formidable statement of Christian doctrine the world has ever known. But do we know what it really means - and how it applies to us today?
In The Apostles' Creed, renowned theologian and Pastor R. Albert Mohler Jr. works line-by-line and phrase-by-phrase through each section of the Creed, revealing the rich truths it contains, including:
- The profound mystery of the Trinity
- The miracle of the Incarnation
- The world-shaking truth of the resurrection
- The hope of Christ's return
- The theological heritage contained in this ancient statement
The Apostles’ Creed is an often-overlooked treasure that contains the power to shape us for vibrant and steadfast living today, equipping believers to live faithfully in a post-Christian culture.

Solid Walk through an age old Creed
This book is deeply inspiring and theologically powerful! The step by step and line by line walk through the Apostles Creed was eye opening and edifying. This was the first book I have read by Dr. Mohler, and his handling of the Word of God is excellent! Each affirmation within the Creed and then followed up by an expository interpretation from Scripture was extremely important! This will help you understand the basics of Biblical Doctrines and Theology that was affirmed by this ancient Creed!

Great Theological Walk-Through
This is an excellent resource on the Apostles Creed. While very accessible to the average Christian it also provides a depth of review that does the creed justice. Dr. Mohler provides a brief historical review and then walks phrase by phrase through the creed, unpacking the key theological themes contained therein. No matter what your previous exposure to the Apostle's Creed, you will highly benefit from this exceptional work. Highly Recommended!!!
