The Anniversary Party focuses on Beth who’s preparing for her (as per the title) anniversary party with her husband Danny. However, she soon gets news that her first boyfriend Mickey has been murdered - before more of her past liaisons begin turning up dead… I absolutely loved this book. It had me gripped from the beginning and I genuinely had no idea where it was going to go. It was filled with twists and turns and the switching of narratives was really clever (and, again, kept me guessing!). If you’re a fan of thrillers - especially those that keep you guessing until the very end - then this is the novel for you.
