At first, Dustin figures the anxious guy with the clipboard is just an overeager fan with dark humor. Odd, but cute.
Then he realizes no one else can see him.
Then he catches him walking through a wall—right after sabotaging his parachute.
Unhinged cosplayer or Death himself, Dustin doesn't care.
No one touches his parachute.
If Greg wants to interfere with his life, Dustin's more than happy to return the favor. Not only is he going to survive, he’s going to save everyone else on Greg’s list.
After all, if Greg wanted an easy target, he shouldn't have picked someone who flirts with death for a living.

Dustin inadvertently teaches Greg more about the human condition, and Greg reminds Dustin of some of the beautiful things life can offer.
Both have to navigate difficult choices, and, for a moment I wasn’t sure how we’d get to our HEA, but it was such a heartwarming journey!
The voice-acting is brilliant - so funny, and really captures Greg’s anxieties and indignities to perfection.

I can't even tell you how much I love this series as an audiobook! Silvana's wonderfully unique characters, narrated by John Solo, are a real delight!
The Supernatural Suckers book series playfully subverts the stereotypes of otherwise terrifying creatures like vampires, demons, and, in this case, a reaper. When John Solo breathes life into this shy and insecure hero, and his voice wavers and breaks, it makes these audiobooks a sheer joy to listen to!
But The Afterlife’s Most Anxious Reaper isn’t just a slapstick comedy. Greg and Dustin’s characterization has depth, and the story is gripping with some unexpected twists. Highly recommended. I hope Sylvana creates many more lovable Supernatural Suckers!

Dustin and Greg were so cute together. I loved how Dustin stuck with his beliefs and kept saving the other souls Greg had to collect. I loved watching Greg gain confidence and stand up for himself. I didn't expect the twist with Dustin's mum. I loved the ending.
