The small seaside town of St Foy in Cornwall is ablaze with excitement. The newly elected Member of Parliament has chosen St Foy as the base for his constituency office.
His arrival coincides with the discovery of a body in a derelict cottage on the outskirts of the town. A natural death—or is it?

It begins with the arrival of a dog, at 9am each day for three days, as foretold told in a childhood tale of a fictitious dog that will rescue the heroine of its story. This time, the dog is real.
The Curiosity Club must find a way to bring truth and lies together, to discover why past and present have fused, and prevent the shame and exposure of one of their precious members
