I knew from the beginning that delay was inevitable, even though they seemed to have been on his brother's land for sometime.
The characters were also a bit unbelievable and manged to tangle themselves into some ridiculous situations. Though predictable, it was light weight and humerous, very easy to listen to when busy.

I really appreciated the found family aspect in the brothers as well. Austin is so precious. Can't wait to get to his book.
The audiobook was excellent despite it having only one female narrator, which is not my jam! My brain normally can't focus too long on one single voice. But Eva Kaminsky's voice and acting definitely elevated both story and characters. Her voice sounds just so smooth, warm and young. Yes I love my characters sounding young. It weirds me out to listen to spicy scenes when a voice actor has an older voice, despite them being talented, although this one is loooow on the spice scale.
I want to both devour and savor the series at the same time.
Tw for war related themes, and cheaterish behaviours, but nothing wild and IMO explainable in the characters' journeys.
