This book was a light hearted, easy to listen to story.

I absolutely love Jane green’s book but this story was a bit flat.

The overuse of the word “delicious” was really irritating by the end of the book.

Not her usual standard of writing

I love Jane Green but ……

I listened to this book on Audible and it was brilliant. Jane Green at her best, as usual. I love Jane Green

Brilliant book

Enjoyable lighthearted read, a little predictable but that's ok to make it a rounded story that you want to end in this way.

If this book wasn’t for you, who do you think might enjoy it more?

I've read and re-read all Jane Green's books, but this one, my first Jane Green listen, I hated and could not get further than the first couple of hours in.

Has Tempting Fate put you off other books in this genre?

I'm not put off by other books in this genre, but will not listen to anything Jane Green reads again.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Jane Greens narration was slow, laborious and boring. I could not listen, it was terrible. Sorry Jane, but stick to writing and pay a pro to do the narrating.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

None other than dying to switch it off.

Let down

I'm a huge jane green fan, but I have to admit this wasn't one of my favourites, sorry! The story was ok, but the audio for me, ruined it. It's lovely to have the author read their own books but on this occasion it didn't work!

Not your finest Jane Green!
