It is always great to be back in Mari Carr’s “Italian Stallions” world again for some more Moretti and Russo action and smoking hot goodness. This book is Liza Moretti and Matt Russo’s story and if you have not read or listened to the “Naughty and Nice” novella yet you should, not only did their story start there but it is a steamy delight. The chemistry between Matt and Liza is electric, and they continue to dance around each other. Matt knew it would not be the last he saw of his shallow ex-girlfriend after the gala, and she comes back scheming and then again with a vengeance. She is looking for a husband, but he is not husband material, not that she would ever be his wife. Liza is aware of the Russo and Moretti feud, but it seems like the latest generation is ready to put that aside and are convincing their elders to do the same. Matt carries a lot more baggage them his brothers, guilt too and until he gets rid of all the weight he carries on his shoulders, he will never open his heart to anyone, he feels he does not deserve to be loved. I loved learning more about Matt and then watching him face and tackle his demons and eventually let them go. Liza was patient and understanding with Matt, but she had not known what he was going thru, mostly because he never shared, or that his family and upbringing were not as loving and supportive as hers had been. Even though he pushes her away once again, it's evident that he truly cares for her. There is never a dull moment in this wonderfully written and plotted story, it has plenty of drama, heartfelt emotions, a touch of angst, and steamy romance. Mari Carr, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride. 

🎧📚🎧  Marina Barrett and Theo Sinclair are a fantastic narration team and they continue to do an amazing job portraying the characters and bringing them to life. Their character voices are consistent and the quality of their audio and performance is top-notch. I loved how they took each role and made it their own, sounding believable and just as I imagined the characters to sound. You can hear how much heart they put into the performance as they capture the character’s emotions and have you feeling every one. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen.

I can just listen to works by this author and know that i will be getting a story i can get into and really enjoy. This one is no different. I was entertained from the first word to the last. The narration was amazing and they did a fantastic job.

Matt Russso and Liza Morerri's families have been feeding for generations. So it's a surprise to both of the, that they are attracted to each other and when they have a night together Liza realizes she likes submitting to Matt in the bedroom. Matt has issues a crazy ex that dies not like the word NO and his own issues regarding the death of his mother. I have enjoyed this series and the characters and I can' t wait to see what's next for the Russo and Moretti families.

Forbidden romances are the best. Always secret, always tempting. For Matt and Liza it is just that. Coming from families who have been enemies for years, Liza knew the attraction she had with Matt could never last. A one night trist is not enough to form a relationship. But neither could get enough of each other. Matt asks Liza to attend a wedding with him, and the only thing between the would be physical. They both knew it could be nothing more. Liza was going to use this as time to get to know her own kinks and Matt truly enjoyed being with Liza. But can it stay just benefits forever? Will feelings ever get in the way? I love these two for so many reasons. The whole attraction is felt from their first glance, and I could not wait to hear more from them. Matt is a little dark. His upbringing has him trained to have no room for love, and never have remorse. But Liza does something to him, and even with his past, he can't stop coming back for more. Liza is all about family. Matt has not treated her family well, and though her feelings are growing, she still has that inkling of doubt and will always put family first. Will these two be the glue that fixes the rift between the Russos and Morettis? Give it a listen! Go on vacation to Hawaii and enjoy that bit of new relationships. Then enjoy the families. It's so much fun to hear this series, and I can't wait for the next one!

Marina Barrett and Theo Sinclair give a wonderful performance of Liza and Matt. Barrett creates the strong, stubborn yet submissive Liza. She keeps her alluring in the bedroom but in life she has all the attitude! Sinclair has Matt with a bit of darkness, a bit of a dom, but with a melting heart. I loved these two together and truly enjoyed their portrayal of Liza and Matt!
