Story
Park ranger Kyler Clemons had loved the vibe and the beach of Mustang Island. Getting caught with her boss’ wife, however, got her transferred to the wild and remote Davis Mountains State Park - in the middle of nowhere. Now after four years, she’s forgotten about the beach and has embraced the mountain life, feeling like a local. She hangs out at the Cottonwood Creek Bar and Grill. She watches football with Mark Walton. She’s taken up birdwatching and stargazing. She is perfectly content. No stress. No drama. And no desire to date. Then Lexie Walton waltzes into her life.

Story
If there’s one thing Brooke Sullivan knows for sure is that people let you down, but that hasn’t stopped her from going after the life she wants. In a new city, with a new job and a new start as a high-end real estate agent, she’s finally back on her feet. The last thing she needs is a distraction. Not her volatile neighbors, not a damn stray cat, and certainly not the flaky, infuriatingly adorkable girl-next-door property stager she has to work with.

Sutton Spencer's ideas for her life were fairly simple: finish graduate school and fall in love. It would be a lot simpler if she could pinpoint exactly what she should do when she graduates in less than a year. Oh, and if she could figure out how to talk to a woman without feeling like a total mess, that would be great, too. Charlotte Thompson is very much the opposite.

This was hilarious
This book was funny from beginning to end; I think it has to be one of the funniest lesbian books I have listened too. It was well narrated by Lori Prince as always. Well done to Robin Alexander for writing such a brilliant book. I would defiantly listen to this book again. I look forward to more books from this author.

I was really surprised by this boon as I absolutely loved it! I listed to the sample and wasn’t overly sold but got it anyway and wow! The story is brilliant and the voice actress makes it all the better! The characters are really well written and really believable! I actually laughed so much through this book with the humour through it! Renee and Val are 2 of my favourite characters! So glad I decided to go with this book cannot recommend enough!!!

I'm so happy right now.
First: Lori Prince is one of my favorite narrators and I was happy she got to narrate a book from one of my favorite favorite authors! And y'all, she smashed it! I wonder how she kept her composure recording, I was cracking up!
Second: I know I mentioned it but, Robin Alexander is one of my favorite authors. Easily top 5 because of her ability to make me laugh. I own this book and was thrilled to see it on Audible. I want more Robin Alexander books on audiobooks.
Third: Now the book... I really loved this story and it made me crack up laughing so hard many times. The Romance kept me warm these winter nights. The laughter kept me smiling and sane. I desperately want 'butthole' shots now because they change your life.
I'll be giving this a listen a few more times and one of those books I will visit at least once a year. If you're looking for angst this doesn't have it... not really. No unnecessary breakups for the sake of drama and bringing the characters together after some melodramatic misunderstanding. It's a wholesome story that's not boring at all! Even the last scene will leave you either laughing or with a smile on your face.
I think by now you know, I highly recommend this! And If you haven't read or listened to 'Just Jorie' by Robin Alexander, go now, go find it and listen to it and be happy!!

Second Book in Series Misses the Mark
this was a second book in a series and the first book the main character had an English accent...it was part of the charm of the story. to not have that follow in the second book made it a true disappointment. The narrative was hard to really follow because the voices were too similar... so I think I would have preferred to read it... then listen to it audibly because it was hard to really follow.

Lori Prince Nails It
This book was a breath of fresh air. I normally read dramas that consist if my crying at some point so this book was soooo needed. I never laughed like this with a book before and loved every moment. The author did a good job with the jokes and was very inventive but it was Lori Prince's narration that sold it so well. it could not have been performed any better. Thumbs up for both the writer and narrator. Thank you both for the warm laughter.

one of Lori's best!
For me all the characters were a little hard to follow. I couldn't keep track of who was who. That's really the only bad thing I have to say. I love Robin's stories and comedy. It was funny, sometimes a little over the top, but still good. I loved the full circle ending. Cute.
And loved Lori's narration in this one.

Laugh Out Loud
Robin Alexander books are some of my favorites. The characters are likable. The writing is funny AND quality. There is just enough sarcasm to allow you to relate to the scenarios these women find themselves in. By the end of each book I find myself wanting to be friends with these people. This was another winner. Lori Prince is also one of my favorite narrators so the combination here is definitely a good time.

If you need a good laugh for few hours you’ll love this book. I’ve never read the text version so I can’t say for certain but Lori Prince’s performance of the comedy bits takes it to the next level. Very worth a listen!
