Mason and Ava face a cold blooded cop killer bent on revenge all whilst trying to plan their perfect wedding.

This is a really good thriller, with outstanding narration and a truly heart stopping finale set at Halloween.

I have loved binge listening to this series and feel sad that it is now finished. I hope to run into Mason, Ava and their friends again sometime soon.

What a way to finish a series. A serial cop k!ller! This story is intense in the best kind of way. It had me on the edge of my seat. Kendra drops those little nuggets and you think you’ve guessed it but you’re way off!!! I loved that we are introduced to more side characters who feel significant, and I’m hoping to see more of them. This has a Halloween theme so if you’re into the spooky season this could be an excellent read for you.

This whole series has Ava and Mason at its core, centering around their relationship and how it’s affected by their work. I really enjoyed it.

These narrators smashed this one too. With Amy reprising her role as Ava. Giving us all the fierce woman vibes. And Alexander taking on the gruff cowboy detective. This is an audio listener’s dream!

If you like a little action, some thrills, a touch of whodunnit, and a bunch of de@d b0dies, this is the series for you!!

He is after justice, but justice for who? You cannot believe everything you are told and the motive only has to make sense to the killer, but when cops are being murdered it hits a little too close to home for Ava and Mason. This is a heart wrenching and emotional rollercoaster, but we also finally get the details of Zander's devastating story and that is a rollercoaster nobody wants to ride….I really hope he can find closure, healing and love again.....please!
This is the last Callahan & McLane book at this point in time....but we do catch up with them in the Columbia River series where they are part of the support cast.
I both read this on Kindle Unlimited and listen on Audible with KU.
