Summary

Six of Edgar Allan Poe’s most chilling tales: "The Tell-Tale Heart", "The Black Cat", "The Raven", "The Pit and the Pendulum", "Shadow," and "The Cask of Amontillado". In each of these tales, the author takes us to the brink of madness with his uncanny ability to paint a macabre picture with words. You might never sleep with the lights out again.

An orchestra of emotion

This is a delightful reading of Poe's dark short stories...Acitelli's telling of these stories effortlessly conveys an orchestra of emotion. Gracefully and artfully done, with no word rushed over, and each carrying dramatic weight. Great stuff.

Wonderful Dark Stories brought to life so Well!

Love these stories so much which have been famous for so long. The narrator's voice is perfect for the mood of these stories. I will revisit these again & again.Six great stories that are told so well indeed. I chose to listen to them because a band called Larkin Poe had a great great great grandfather who was Edgar Allen Poe's Cousin. So glad I did. These stories are so very special.
