I've read a number of the author's books now, and this series is by far my favorite. The characters are relatable, and the sci-fi element is downplayed in favour of a complex mystery and character development. Definitely reccomend this.

A real surprise! Excellent reading, and an excellent story! Very little swearing!
In my opinion it matches the early “Hell Divers” books. No magic, no demons, just good sci-fi with sci-fi monsters!
Already bought book 2 (no sexual content)

I wish Audible had content warnings for each title!
