“Absolutely purr-fect” ( The Times)

Summary

Tabby McTat is a busker's cat. He loves his life with Fred, singing along as people throw coins in their hat. Then one day, Fred has an accident, and the two are separated. How will they ever find each other again?

Brilliantly performed by award-winning actress Imelda Staunton, this audio download contains the complete, best-selling story with music, the Tabby McTat Song, a listening game, and a readalong version of the story with musical page turns to use with a copy of the book.

I like the story but the balance is all wrong

I like the story but the sound balance on the recording is not good, at some points the words are barely audible where the sound effects are extremely loud. This is a real shame in a story where the words are most of the charm.

Poor

The story is predictable for Julia but the audio version is awful! The sound isn't level with the narration so it's too difficult to hear what's going on. Not great for bedtime

A lovely narrative to accompany the picture book

The story, music and narrative was great. My 4yo loved it. Works better with book?
