a great factual insight.

I wasn't sure about the book when I started to listen as I was a little sceptical on the topic with all the controversy surrounding the topic. BUT when you hear the few hundred very similar and some very accurate accounts, it all starts to gain plausibility. have a listen and decide for yourself.

Gave up through boredom at authors constant negativity

This is a fascinating and quite possibly true conspiracy theory. However I’ve given up half way as I’m fed up with the constant negativity of the author which disses everyone and to that extent tends to destroy the obviously detailed research over many years.

Another great piece of investigative reporting against the big three American institutions. I won't say more other than you'll not be disappointed in the writing, but can't say that about those it's based. But then, I guess you won't be surprised about that either?? . . . .

excellent documentation on corruption, but...

Is ultimately a limited hangout. This book is really well written and well read, clearly some effort went into this, and it goes to painstaking lengths to catalogue all the lies and corruption from the president on down, and towards the final minutes of the entire book, suggests what happened, was a missile test gone wrong. This effectively replaces one completely innocent cause (plane crash due to mechanical failure) with another (plane crash due to failed navy missile test). The running theme here is clearly "the accident was an accident."

Disappointing, because if the author were really trying to solve this issue, he would have spent just 5 minutes in the book trying to verify his conclusions, rather than just 5+ hours pointing out the lies everyone else has been telling. For example, 60 seconds research tells me the military issue temporary flight restrictions (TFR’s) whenever they are going to be firing or testing anything.

He also assumes that the entire American establishment, from FBI to CIA, and a host of politcos including the president, will all lie to cover for the mistake of the naval officer who gave the order for such a test. I'm sure there's much more if you gave it some thought as to why this makes zero sense.

As such, the limited hangout this book appears to be, explains all this away as nothing more than saving a few mid-level navy people the embarrassment of a test gone wrong, at the expense of making top level people look like stupid liars. Makes no sense and based on the integrity and depth of the research, prior in this book, is very suspect indeed.

An awful, condescending tale. Don't do it.

This "cover-up" prioritises name-dropping, democrat hating, and mistrust of government bodies over the factual retelling of what the author believes to have happened to TWA 800. The long and short of it, is that this is simply a work of fiction with little factual evidence.

The author writes (poorly) about factual evidence without substance; proof is discussed, but never adequately demonstrated.

Instead, the author chooses to waste the reader's time by devoting chapters to defending himself against being labeled a conspiracy theorist, or reminding us about how much he hates the Clintons and the democratic party.

This book is a DNF, however the narration by Richard Ferrone was great.

Not a good book, 1. Predictable 2. Repetitive, 3. Hard to believe. 4. Badly written unless English is not his 1st…… or 2nd language. and just pure fiction. Not even good fiction either.


Conspiracists always can’t agree. One group say ‘missile shot it down’, they get angry at the ‘Plane Collision’ ones and they both get upset with the ‘Terrorist’ group.

Look, the government can’t keep their employees in line because of Snowden and other whistleblowers. How come no one has
come forward to explain their part?

If a terrorist, why has no one claimed it?
If a collision, why has no one reported one missing?
If Navy, it would not stay quiet. Look at Russia, Iran, USA all shot down passenger planes before and were called out by other countries.

So my point is, maybe get your news from somewhere else, stop believing certain people and news site.

Look up historical stories and see which news corporations told it right (Yes mainstream media) so you can start believing in the world again.

People like this author just do it to be different, needy and special.

Unfortunately that is not the case, they are just fantasists.

Spend your money on a book about something that is the truth, like E.T who crashed at Roswell shot JFK then morphed into Jack Ruby and had 3 love children with Miss Piggy called Alex Jones, Donald Trump and Jack who decided to write this book.

Now that is more on point than this book.

compelling book, awful narration

very interesting and compelling book, spoilt by a narrator that sounded like he'd just smoked 50 packets of cigarettes. If he'd been reading 'The Sporanos' it might have worked
