Kay is King another gem

Absolutely a joy from start to finish. Peter Kay is one of your own. Listening to him is like sitting in a comfortable chair with a cold beer in a cosy pub as he chats like an old friend making you laugh at his anecdotal experiences of life. Wonderful man, brilliant comic and about as down to earth as they come. A legend.

What a good un

This man makes you want to have been a better person, calling Liam Gallagher a nob head was inspired. And let’s be honest, in the circumstances, totally correct.

sign me up for the tour peter

As a fellow Boltonian I haven't laughed so much in ages. Brilliant book, amazing memories that mirror a lot of my life growing up in Bolton. I even take my kids on tours round Bolton to show them where I grew up , where I went to school, the bushes we used to pick the rose petals off to make the perfume.

if you're doing the filming tour Peter can I be first one on it please 🙏
tick ☑️ for yes ..... cross❎️ for no

Excellent job and I'm very grateful for you sharing it with us. now its goodnight from me....and goodnight from him . (see what I did there) 😂🤣

Interesting and hilarious in equal measure

Really enjoyed Peter’s story of his career and experiences in TV; some great behind-the-scenes nuggets and top laughs throughout. It just goes to show what you can achieve with a dream, hard work and being a grounded, all-round good bloke. It’s been an honour and a privilege to listen…

Genuinely laughed that much I’ve pulled my back and have been in agony for two days!
Have been binge watching phoenix nights, max and paddy and car share. Anything Peter Kay does is fantastic and hilarious. Would love more of all three series please Peter 😉😉

I’m glad I kept going

I love Peter Kay, however felt in places that this audiobook was just a regurgitation of clips that I’d heard many times. I put it down for a few weeks but glad I went back. The stories about Ronnie Barker and the many insights into his writing process were captivating.

She's not even Irish? come on, man.

When he first hit the scene he was fresh, unique and brilliant. I read his first book in a day when it came out years ago and loved it. This is like he's not even trying, or if he is, that's worse. It's like sitting with an elderly relative telling you the same rambling tired tales you've heard countless times before. I don't know, maybe it's just me, I really don't think it is though.
