Summary

Three best friends met every Tuesday for 26 years. And then they stopped.

From the author of the best-selling Sweeney Sisters series comes a novel of friendship, family, and hope.

When new next-door neighbors Georgia, Midge, and Lula first assembled on Georgia's porch in Charleston for sweet tea, they couldn't have known their gathering was the beginning of a treasured tradition. For 26 years they have met on Tuesdays at four o'clock, watching the seasons change and their children grow up, supporting each other in good times and in bad. With their ambitions as different as their personalities, these best friends anticipate many more years of tea time. And then, one Tuesday, Georgia shares news that brings their long-standing social hour to an abrupt halt. And that's only the beginning as unraveling secrets threaten to alter their friendship forever.

Sweet story.

This story is about three neighbor women that have tea every Tuesday, but things in life change for all of them as they get older and their lives alter due to events in their lives. There are points where I rolled my eyes because of the way a character behaved, but that character was consistent throughout the whole story. I believe that another book should follow up on that character's potential foolish personal choice: well, it comes across as a future "Newlywed Killers" episode. That aside, I enjoyed this book and how it is work to be a friend. It isn't all happiness and hearts. A worthwhile read.

A Nice Friendship Book

This book is about three women who have met every Tuesday for Sweet Tea for twenty six years. They have the normal ups and downs as friends do in real life. As things go in life, we get busy so they stop meeting on Tuesdays. Ashley Farley has a wayof writing that she can blend these 3 separate lives to flow together. The characters are believable and even likable. The storyline is interesting enough to aintain interest. Linda Henning does an amazing job with the narration. You have to read this book to see how it ends. I enjoyed this book.

Sappy

The story was both amateurish and predictable. I wouldn’t waste your time with this one unless you want to risk elevating your blood sugar.
