I absolutely love this story. The contrast of Emma and Dimitri makes it wholesome. Though I prefer reading, being able to listen saves me time. Great story telling as well.

This entire series is full of women described as strong, confident and firecrackers. No matter the situation or the line, the male narrator always reads all female dialog as demure and breathless. Completely breaks the immersion every time.

Liked the misunderstanding at the beginning was fun. I love that he wanted to protect, love of opposites. liked the humour between the characters. laugh out loud sometimes.

Insta-love, insta-lust, dominant male, naive female, fast pace story. I didn't really get to know the characters or the relationship. The sex was rough and I'm usually fine with that but this felt a bit rapey. Always pain and no safeword and no consent (sometimes the opposite). If they're gonna play they should have safewords so that's a big no for me.
