And Davis is one of the best, he is tortured and full of self doubt, but he is also so sweet and 'all in' with 'his girls' - even when he doubts his own worth. All the Whiskey Run men are steamy hot, but the Wounded Hero spin off is really beautiful, it is packed with men who have given everything for their country and returned dinted, damaged and fighting for their lives ....any sort of life, when everything they know has been stolen from them. And as amazing as our heroes are, the women who love them are also awesome, they are strong, patient and loving, until their men are stupid, then they are feisty, sassy and brutally honest. I love them all!
I originally read this on Kindle Unlimited, but listened this time on Audible and enjoyed it so much more.
