It was a pleasure to read this book and I like it when the whole series is together - makes binging so easy. The first book is really about set up and I got confused earlier on but then everything settled down and you worked how everyone fitted in. There were books that concentrated on peril and a little violence and then others that explored the emotions. One of the reasons that this author is one of my favourites is she is not shy of being honest rather than concentrating on violence etc. It works so well, and I just escaped into the world. Main characters are not safe so just a warning.

I really enjoyed this audiobook. It’s really quite interesting. Most definitely don’t know who to trust until things get bad . It food for thought.

I have surprisingly enjoyed this audiobook. Simply put, the story has had me on the edge of my seat! A rather catastrophic story full of surprising twists and endearing characters.

I'm close to finishing but I'm still hooked.

It’s a gripping and heart wrenching story with several twists and turns. A family on the run but what if the real danger comes from those you don’t expect it….
