Summary

It was a pleasure to read this book and I like it when the whole series is together - makes binging so easy. The first book is really about set up and I got confused earlier on but then everything settled down and you worked how everyone fitted in. There were books that concentrated on peril and a little violence and then others that explored the emotions. One of the reasons that this author is one of my favourites is she is not shy of being honest rather than concentrating on violence etc. It works so well, and I just escaped into the world. Main characters are not safe so just a warning.

I quickly became invested in the characters and storyline. I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to the whole series back to back.
such a nice change to have this sort of fiction without any weird aliens or zombies! a proper read/listen 5 stars!

I really enjoyed this audiobook. It’s really quite interesting. Most definitely don’t know who to trust until things get bad . It food for thought.
