I’ve been a fan of post-apocalyptic stories for a long time, and this series easily stands out as one of the best. From the very first book, it pulls you in with well-developed characters, intense action, and a storyline that never lets up. The military detail adds a layer of realism that makes the world feel authentic without ever slowing down the pace.
What I enjoyed most was how the series balances high-stakes survival with genuine human moments. It’s not just about zombies, it’s about resilience, loyalty, and the tough choices people make when everything is on the line.
The narration by Andrew B. Wehrlen is outstanding. He brings the characters to life with distinct voices and the right amount of emotion, which makes the story that much more immersive. I found myself looking forward to listening whenever I had the chance.
