Summary

Fall in love with the beautiful Jewel Island this summer, where the sapphire sea sparkles, the golden sun warms your skin and the islanders melt your heart.

From the best-selling author of The Little Village of Happiness comes Holly Martin’s most romantic novel yet.

Aria Philips has lived on Jewel Island all of her life. Even when her sisters left its stunning shores, Aria stayed to help her father run their family hotel. A year after her father’s death, Aria’s done everything she can to keep things afloat, but the hotel has long been struggling to make a profit.

With so few guests, Aria risks losing the only home she’s ever had. Noah Campbell earned his fortune from making hotels a success, and he also just happens to be staying on Jewel Island this summer. Could he be the answer to Aria’s problems? Yet, for the past year Noah has been keeping a secret, and his return to Jewel Island is about to change Aria’s life forever.

Great narrator, loved the characters, very easy listening and a story that is simply lovely and gives a good feel factor. Sit back and relax

Another great story

Loved the book, characters and storyline.
Didn't enjoy the narrator's voice and it didn't match the characters either

Mostly a lovely story

I enjoyed most of this story though I did skip it one part when it reached absolute stupidity. The most annoying thing was the narrator voice Once I got past that it was ok.

Lovely start to this series.

I loved this book, Noa and Aria were a lovely couple who had a lot of trust issues to work through. I liked the way Aria likes to help the people of the Island. I look forward to following the progress of the hotel throughout the series. I think this will be a fun community to be a part of through this collection of books.

Feel good & uplifting

Just what I needed! So easy to get into and it’s your typical feel good book. Loved it and I actually wished it had more. Got so invested in the characters and their lives and I can imagine this being a Hallmark movie or series.

Warm and funny

We have a word in Wales, Cwtch. It means anything cuddly and cosy
, and that is exactly how i’d describe this gem (excuse the pun) of a book.
Written with Holly’s reliable warmth and humour, this was a jolly tale of finding where you belong and the people you belong with.
Throw in some raunchy antics, that may leave you needing a cold shower, and you have a funny, warm, rip roaring read.
Thourghly reccomended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Love this book!

Loved this book, I have read it once and now listened to it twice. At first I didn't like the narrators voice but after he first chapter she is so good at telling the story.

The narrator put me off

Unfortunately I couldn't cope with the voice of the narrator. I've read Holly Martin's books before and know how fabulous they are so this review really is not for the book as, to be fair I could not listen to very much of it as the voice really did put me off. such a shame.
