I really enjoyed this, a sweet, feel good novel
- By zomodo on 07-02-21
Summary
Rediscover the pleasures of love and laughter, food and wine, friendship and romance with number one New York Times best-selling author Susan Wiggs!
With a little determination and a lot of charm, Rosa Capoletti took a run-down pizza joint and turned it into an award-winning restaurant, voted the “best place to propose” three years in a row. For Rosa, though, there has been no real romance since her teenaged love affair with Alexander Montgomery ended without explanation a decade ago. But guess who’s just come back to town?
Reunited at the beach house where they first fell in love, Rosa and Alexander discover that the secrets of the past are not what they seem. Now, Rosa searches for happiness with the man who once broke her heart - and learns that in love, as in life, there are second chances.

love through the years
This was a sweet story. The basic idea is two folks who fell in love as young people rediscover each other as adults and try to heal their wounds. It switches from their current story to flashbacks of their history. Very captivating and intriguing.

Really enjoyed this story and it’s Secret Garden vibes
I loved the Lakeshore Chronicles by Susan and this book had a lot elements that reminded me of that series. It was just the comfort book I needed after dealing with the stress of the pandemic. I love the characters, the story line, the details, and the references to the character’s history. There were some Secret Garden vibes in this story, and I absolutely loved that book as a child. I recommend this book to those who enjoyed the Apple Orchard and Beekeepers Ball, the Virgin River series by Robyn Carr and the Eternity Springs series by Emily March.

my favorite Susan Wiggs book
this is a must have book. not only does it have True Romance, but love of family, childhood friends, and passion for one's life. Add an unsolved mystery and you have a novel that you can't put down.

Need something to keep u company a voice ?
Well this is it. Only rudimentary plot, boy girl lots of griping in between, and last chapter the plot moves to boy gets girl. This is hours of nothing happening repeating the same info incessantly to fill out the hours. This one is not offensive, not exciting, not even going to keep your attention or focus Listening to commercials would provide as much inner satisfaction as this one
