The story overall was good, but I found the main character Maggie, irritating! Weak a spineless it made me wanting to just scream at her! Narrator very good. Overall good story.

The story and narration was brilliant. I feel as though I know the village of Micklewick and all the characters personally. can't wait to start the next book in the series. Highly recommended 😃

I really enjoyed this second book in the Micklewick Bay series. A great summer read.
It had romance, humour, and a bit of a psychological thriller vibe.
I'm looking forward to the third book.
